If you are captured you are required, under the provisions of Article 17 of the Prisoner of War Convention, 1949, to give your captors the information set out below so that your capture may be reported to your next-of-kin.    When you are interrogated, but not before, tear off the duplicate portion and give it to the inter-rogator.  GIVE  NO  OTHER  INFORMATION.
Once tis card has been issued to you you must carry it upon you at all times.   In your own interest you must ensure that the particulars of your rank are kept up to date.
