Haven't been on the site too often since the 're-fit' ... Spider, thou
art a top chap, good work fella!

Came accross the site when I found the poem I wrote on our return home
journey in '82, which incidentally was one of the first creative things
I wrote

I now work in music promotion / events etc and have an enjoyable semi-
pro career as a singer songwriter

Also next year am involved in the presentation of a play about The
Falklands Trip at The National War Museum in Manchester

Hope everyone is keeping well :-)

Served on Broadsword as an ME(1)very early 60's before going into
submarines. Did get an invite to the first commisioning of the latest
Broadsword at "Guss". Remember being put in to Malta after doing a full
power trial after leaving Venice, our main gearing had a problem, and
we eventually had to return to the UK early, not that anybody at that
time was complaining. Anybody out there that remembers me I would be
happy to hear from them.
